“ We are visiting from out of town and popped over to Bare Back Grill for dinner. There wasn't a wait which was a must because we were starving. The staff was very friendly and the place has a laid back vibe. We got the hummus plate to start and the pita was nice and warm, and the hummus had great flavor. I then got the shrimp and mango salad for dinner and it was delicious! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the salad also had corn and cotija which I loved. My husband got the Queenstown Fave burger and it was really good. The fries came with several aiolis and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual eating spot with great food! ”

“ Another win in PB for our group, and looked like it was always busy too while we were in town. Just a small beer bar with a solid burger menu. A couple of us sat down right before the daily lunch special ended, and they so kindly allowed us to lock it in as time expired. It was a nice start to a long weekend. They don't have a lot of craft taps, but enough to provide some variety of styles/flavor/breweries. A couple kegs blew while we were there, so had to pick a couple other options. Variety is the spice of life! And, like any good beer bar, they have a cheap domestic available... in this case- Bud Light. Those who got lunch- we loved our burgers and fries. Can't beat $15 for waygu and wonderfully seasoned fries. Just a couple of people running the ship when we were there - both super nice. We even got a couple of additional recommendations for the area. Like many places around PB, they are dog-friendly as long as they are well-behaved. Definitely a great chill spot in the area! ”

“ EXCELLENT food with a laid back, casual beach vibe. They have indoor (booth, tables, and bar) as well as outdoor seating options. We used to come here regularly about 15-18 years ago and always loved the Bare Lil Lamb burger (currently $25). Husband and I shared that and our son got the Wagyu Smash, which he said was the best burger in his life! Burgers and sandwiches come with shoestring fries and let me tell you they are fantastically crisp and served with three different sauces (ketchup, wasabi mayo and this other bbq type sauce that was my favorite). They have a full bar here and the cocktails sounded great. I opted for the mimosa (which was on special for only $2!!) and my husband got a Kona beer that he enjoyed. Our server (I'll have to ask my son what her name was and update this review) was fantastic... very sweet, efficient and genuine. If in the area and you want food that will make your taste buds sing... stop here! ”

“ Came here Dec 27, 2025. Ryan had an incredible chicken sandwich with pineapple and something along the lines of a red pepper aoili. Skinny fries were way better than the steak fries. Sierra was indifferent about the burger. Waitress was attentive. I was a little cold. ”

“ With the many great restaurants serve some great food one place that I had found that was located next door doughnut store . The area of the Mission Beach area you can find the best in breakfast while I was waiting for the doughnut place to open the restaurant got my attention to the menu it had some of the best dishes . I saw the inside of the restaurant nice size crowd and found a table near the door it had the feel of a bar pub and seeing the bar in the back it was decorated for the new years eve. The restaurant location at the Felspar Mission Blvd the many servers they were s ravine some of the best burgers. I asked if if they have a good burgers with bacon the server suggested that O try the Mauo Maui she said the burger that has pineape . The server asked me if I need a drink I asked a for a coke looking the restaurant the feel a corner pub with good bar food. The serve brought out my order that was of the Maui Maui with bacon beer battered fried onion rings the burger looked twice the size the presentation. The taste of the burger is one of the best with the the taste of the bacon and the well done hamburger the taste of the pineapple the onion rings they gave with it with some of the best dipping sauces having a good bacon burger . The great location for the restaurant the Mission Beach area the BareVack Grill is one of the best in service seeing the many of the servers as they helped the many. Fern one of the best Managers to see a person greet and seat customers . Bareback Grill had the energy and the decorations to welcome the many customers at the locations the restaurant is with in the walking distance of the beach and many other pubs of the beach . As a Yelp Elite Reviewer from the many great great pubs and restaurants for the BareBack Grill is one place that has all the things for a beach area with the drinks of a bar . Customer service the best from the locals that were welcomed . With the best in finger food this is one place that I will be returning back to see the groups of people best place for co workers . ”

“ Our first visit to Bare Back Grill was a great one! There's indoor and outdoor seating options. It is dog friendly with a handful of customers having their dogs with them. The interior of Bare Back Grill feels like a surf vibe. It was decorated with Christmas/Winter decorations and it felt very festive. So many of the burgers sounded good, but we decided to order the wagyu smash burger. It was juicy and flavorful. The bun was soft and fresh. The overall flavor of the hamburger was excellent. The shoestring fries are thin and have a tasty seasoning on them. Bare Back Grill had a solid selection of beers on tap and cocktails. They also have a kids menu that is very reasonably priced. Our server was efficient and friendly. We felt well taken care of. We loved everything about our experience at Bare Back Grill and would definitely come back! ”

“ This place rules! Good vibes, good music, good burgers, and good beer. Can't ask for much more! Plenty of seating inside and out but expect a full croud if going during peak meal times. Service was great. Very accommodating and helpful in getting our order in, we had a hungry toddler and needed food quick. Burgers aren't cheap but they are loaded and the seasoning on the shoestring fries is delicious. The dipping sauces are excellent as well. 100% coming back next time I'm in PB! ”

“ Ordered the Steak & Chips, for chips I was craving sweet potato fries, it hit the spot. The flank steak was cooked nicely medium rare as I requested and the mushrooms. The salad was a nice size. I like that the seasonings are on the board so you can pepper, salt the meat to your liking. Blue cheese came with the potato fries so I put it all over the plate to mix. Staff was friendly and attentive. What drew me in was the coziness and good music. It's a nice space, ”
